It’s been a busy Christmas and new years here on the farm. We added two new little ones and are starting to prepare for spring seeds, like onions, this is very new to me being somewhat ahead of the game as far as my garden goes. The chickens have also been out doing themselves and laying even on the coldest days.

Big thanks to Bazooka Games Westminster for hosting our inaugural Craft Day today! We had several folks brave the snow to join us. We’re already working on planning the next one for January!

Well we added some baby bunnies to the farm this weekend. After a much anticipated pregnancy Petal delivered a huge litter of 10 bouncing babies. Mom and babies are doing great.

Most of the sheep are currently mowing the neighborhood yards. The garden expansion/ cleanup is making progress. The next step is finding my blueberry bushes in the jungle. Breeding season is almost over and we expect the first lambs the beginning of December. I have been baking some amazing breads and cookies and we will be moving back into the hardy loaves and bagels as the weather cools.

Thank you everyone who stopped by yesterday my baked goods sold out on my farm stand! Everything on the stand today I baked last night. Including fresh bagels, and honey swirl sourdough. I will be baking more chocolate chip cookies this afternoon. 3546 Sams creek road. And there are still plenty of eggs.

Getting ready for the farm stand tomorrow. This week we have sourdough chocolate chip cookies, hamburger buns, and plenty of eggs. Along with a few other odds and ends. We also spent this week making hay for all the sheep this winter.

The farm stand is open today with fresh sourdough breads and hamburger buns. We also have eggs and the last of the peas for this year. I will be baking more today for the farm stand tomorrow. All the baby things on the farm are getting big.

It’s baking day for the farm sand! Trying sourdough hamburger buns for the first time. We also added a new family milk cow to the farm. It will be a few years before I can add buttermilk to my baking but for now she needs a name. The farm stand will have everything baked today on it tomorrow so please plan on stopping by.
