Why I’ve been non-existent for a couple of years and the energy to create kind of left me.
This was my final project in fashion school, and it didn’t win any awards or get placed in the gallery. Took me many many hours of draping, pattern making , and sewing to create this and it felt like it was for nothing.
To be honest while I’m extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to study fashion in a serious setting , in a good school that didn’t drain my bank account , it also drained a lot of creativity out of me. I basically haven’t started or continued a crochet project in at least a year, much less finished one.
I also took a mental health break from social media for a long time and I’m still severely restricting it. But I’m happy to say that I’m back to loving crochet and wanting to do more with yarn. Sewing is alright I guess .
