Our Kalach flatweave rugs resembles the rare and collectible antique Khalaj kilim by a Turkic group based south of Isfahan that were produced in the 19th century and earlier. Due to their limited availability, NASIRI revived the ancient dyeing and weaving techniques that have dissolved over the years to produce high-quality reproductions. This rug is crafted using hand-carded Persian wool and natural dyes and is made in the same region as those that were produced for centuries.
