Color Story: Bone.

Pantone’s 2026 Color of the Year, Cloud Dancer, reflects a wider return to softened whites. At Stella, the palette takes on warmth and texture through brushed throws, woven cushions, table linens, rattan, candles, glass, horn, and pale florals.

With color pared back, texture comes forward: the direction of a pile, the irregularity of a weave, the markings within horn, and the shadows cast by rattan.

Nearly colorless, but never without character.

A new arrival at Stella, and one we’re already loving: House of Lyria.

Based in Prato, Tuscany, the textile house combines generations of Italian craftsmanship with an experimental sensibility. Its work is guided by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, finding beauty in texture, variation, and imperfection.

The Anais and Marmaris cushions bring depth and movement through dimensional jacquard and a velvet-like surface that shifts subtly in the light. Layered beneath them, the Crotus throw combines cashmere and silk in a softly speckled weave that feels every bit as luxurious as it looks.

Material Library: Mohair
A closer look at the many expressions of mohair found at Stella.

Mohair begins as the long, lustrous fleece of the Angora goat, a breed historically associated with Ankara, Turkey.

Once shorn, the fleece is sorted, washed, carded, combed and spun. Its fibers are smoother than ordinary sheep’s wool, helping them catch the light and take on color with remarkable clarity.

This is what gives mohair its soft halo, rich color and unexpected resilience. Depending on how it is spun and woven, it can feel airy and feathery, dense and plush, or gently structured.
