Lever House. [7/7]

The final post on our Lever House project is about details. Custom wood paneling that leads the eye upwards. Accents of orange that inform and express. And bringing bits of the past into the future. Enjoy!

Lever House. [6/7]

We often make things specifically for projects, as it means we’re able to create pieces that function impeccably for clients. We couldn’t do this without our dedicated team of collaborators, such as Turner Construction, CCN International and Artistic Tile, whose talent and skill have helped us realize custom conference tables and credenzas, which are highlighted here, in this sixth post about Lever House.

Lever House. [5/7]

A room with a view. What you want when you’re at work, and also when you’re away from it. Here, in our fifth post on Lever House, we highlight the custom glass partitions that preserve the office’s views up and down Park Avenue.

Lever House. [4/7]

Offices have and always will be hectic. It’s what makes them enjoyable but also what can make them difficult, which is why a space to pause and collect oneself is always comforting. This fourth post on the Lever House project highlights just that.

Lever House. [3/7]

The third post on our Lever House project puts flexibility at the fore, especially as the way we work continues to evolve, even in the most traditional of industries.

Lever House. [1/7]

In 1952, Lever House, with its stainless steel, blue-green glass, terrazzo, and travertine, redefined what an office building (and by extension the office) could be: light-filled, airy, undeniably modern. The 1950s and ’60s often find their way into our work. It’s their design ethos, rather than their aesthetic, that we’re drawn to. So, when a longstanding client approached us to design an interior in an icon from the period, it was an incredible honor.

After two years, and a world of work turned upside down, we’re very pleased to share it with you.
