It is often said that your first child holds a special place in your ❤️, and that is exactly how we feel about , the first brewery we ever worked on.
Tonight marked their 11th anniversary. This is an incredible achievement in New York City and anywhere else. It is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how we have both grown and evolved alongside our surroundings. has changed significantly since we first stepped on-site, and we are proud that the remains a staple, both supporting and being supported by its community for over a decade. 🍻

[ UPDATE: MEMBERS-ONLY MEETING HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO OCTOBER 19, 2025, 2PM. ]

On October 19, 2025 at 2PM, Principal will be hosting a members-only meeting with the in Greenwich Village at his home.

This event, hosted by will contain a comprehensive overview on various maps throughout history. His rich collection spans New York City’s early subway history (including maps that were privately printed), the 40s-60s era, the 1972 MTA schematic by Massimo Vignelli, the 1979 map, and John’s most recent 2020 New York City subway map.

Afterwards, Principal Kushner will give an informal tour of his extensive map collection, of which includes the famous 1748 Nolli Map of Rome along with many other interesting and relevant NYC based maps.

Principal Adam Kushner opens the doors to his 16 Minetta Lane home once again as a part of OHNY Weekend, this October 18th from 11AM to 4:30PM!

Discover the history behind one of NYC’s most beloved house projects, designed by Kushner Studios and representing the culmination of Principal Kushner’s design-build philosophy. This 6,000 SF property masterfully pays homage to the buildings of Minetta Street’s past with its tree-inspired facade. At the same time, coming equipped with several modern (and unique) amenities including 9 working fireplaces, an outdoor rock-climbing wall (tallest private wall in the world), a Polish vodka bar, and a private sauna.

This phenomenal home blends history and innovation with a deeply personal narrative by Principal Kushner, making this one of a kind project a must-visit during Open House’s Weekend.

After 3 ½ years of planning, Kusher Studios is getting ready to break ground on 213 Third Avenue. This massive collaborative effort will mark the first utilization of 3D printed parts in a high-rise building with 3D printed commercial entryways and storefronts. We’re excited to watch as this ambitious project finally becomes a reality. Stay tuned for more information!

This year’s summer office outing was a trip to in . Their current exhibit, Maestros & the Machines gave a museum experience unlike any other. From the 4D Sound exhibit that encourages you to lay down and take in the environment to The Dragon Room that provided a visually stunning light show. Exhibits like the Ball Pond and Drawing Station allow you to feel like a kid again as you dive into a massive and watch your drawings come to life. All this made Mercer Labs a unique interactive experience.

Principal [President] reunites with some fellow graduates of his from . Filled with both alumni and new students alike, this gathering was to celebrate and discuss the importance behind the institute’s which allows students to travel through the city of and greater italy as they examine its architectural development, engage in Italian language and culture courses and deepen their understanding of Roman architecture and the role it played in the development of Western culture and building design.

Students are encouraged to take back what they learned from their travels in Italy and use them to continue the legacy of this influence in the development of new architectural works back in the States.

This is Principal [president] ‘s second year serving as a Swarthmore Ambassador and hosting the New York City Welcome Event. It is open to incoming Freshman and the Swarthmore community members in general.
