Jane Austen first published Sense and Sensibility almost exactly 215 years ago (October 1811)! She did so anonymously as “by a lady,” and the first run of 750 copies had soon completely sold out. Since then, it’s been adapted into many films and shows, with a new remake releasing in theaters soon! Our set of the week, The Novels of Jane Austen, is a Third Edition of a collation of early editions and includes many illustrations.
