I am having a hard time with decorating the accent wall in our living room. The walls on either side of the fireplace are somewhat narrow. I also don't love the coffee table we chose. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Looking for recommendations on replacing a exterior door that goes to the garage . My wife hates this door , and I’m 100% with her. Honestly if we could just remove it we would but it goes to the garage. Since it is a exterior door, there are certain codes that need to be met. 

The door is right between the living room and dining room which is  awkward . And unfortunately we can’t get rid of the door because like I said before to goes to the garage. Had many contractors look at it and unfortunately it has to stay.

So what can I do to make this door more stylish?

Recently purchased beach house will be permanent residence in couple years. You walk into house and see living area then the kitchen beyond it. I Want to change kitchen. Would love suggestions. Here are some thoughts but open to something not listed:
1-just replace backsplash with simple white or very light aqua-ish color and leave rest or
2-replace all granite with white (quartz) and new backsplash keep gray cabinets/island or
3-prof spray all cabinetry white and white count

Sprayed the radiator to match the wallpaper and now it’s almost invisible.

I need advice! Our 1912 home. Most of our doors have these beautiful k***s, which I assume are original. We had a skeleton key that worked on many of our doors, but it was lost or misplaced. It pains me!!! Before the key was lost, this lock was turned out, and now with the key lost, this bedroom door does not close all the way. I'd love to find a key that works for our doors, but I know locksmiths are hesitant to work on these old locks. Is there any trick to picking it to get it turned back in? Or any suggestions on getting a new key for it? 🤦‍♀️

Does anyone have any recommendations to get paint off of wood trim without damaging it?

We’re slowly updating paint colors in our house, and the realtor of the previous owners told them they needed to paint everything, and unfortunately they did an absolutely terrible job at it. There are splotches everywhere in the house like this where they were not very careful painting around the trim. I’ve done my own research, but was wondering if anyone has used anything specifically that has worked really well. Thank you in advance! 🤔💡🏠🎨😊👍
