Make home your favorite muse 💫

This outtake is from a new construction styling project. My client downsized and wanted to create a warm inviting home for herself and her daughter but also needed the apartment to be highly functional, incorporating multi purpose furnishings and spaces into the design.

If you are struggling with an entire design plan, simple furniture layout or home decor and accessories editing, you are not alone! DM or reach out anytime and we will help you turn your home into your haven 🙌🏻

HAVEN - a soft place to land at the end of a long day 🙌🏻

At Haven Lifestyle Design, we believe your environment directly impacts your peace of mind, especially during the darker winter months 🩵

Bringing the outdoors in is one of our favorite ways to thaw out a space 🪴

For Winter 2026, try leaning into:

Structural Height - architectural lines of curly willow

Soft Textures - pillowy mums offer softness and warmth to balance the winter chill

Earthy Details - A hand-finished clay vase with amazing textural twisted handles

Haven Hint💡
Keep your sanctuary feeling crisp and bright and swap your standard bulbs for Daylight LEDs. It mimics natural northern light, making your textures pop and your mood lift instantly.

Morning inspiration right from my breakfast nook 🤗

I caught a glimpse of the bright warmth streaming through my windows this morning and it made me start thinking about my new exciting project where sunshine, blue hues and open views will envelope the space 🩵

Moral of the story…there is inspiration around you all the time. Open your eyes and you’ll start to see it everywhere 🙌🏻

For many of my younger professional clients in NYC—whether they like it or not - moving frequently is part of the plan. Often, a client doesn’t need a full redesign, but rather thoughtful help with a single, tricky piece for a new apartment, or guidance on what’s worth moving, what should be sold or donated, and what makes sense to purchase fresh for the next chapter.

My client simply needed to purchase a specific sized sofa that worked in her beautiful new space. And we found it! The perfect smaller scale sectional, delivered within a week and on budget!

Thank you for your kind words, Zoe. I loved working with you too! 🩵
