As the cold New York winter is soon to set in, we’re looking back at some of our Studio Fōr travels this past summer 🌅
Much warmer weather welcomed us in Portugal and Japan. Two places with such distinct characters, both full of inspiration and architectural intrigue. Wandering the city streets one sees a constant mixture of old and new, centuries old materials interacting with the newest technologies in our urban environment.
Whether working in New York or abroad, we always consider the architectural and cultural contexts of where we design. Getting out into the cities we work in is essential to incorporating that ethos into our work. Observing the ebbs and flows of daily life, the nuances of activity and interacting with those in each city is such a joy and education.
This season, Studio Fōr is off to more travels that we are excited to share with you soon!
