Black and white done right! I love how it can wrap an entire room in graphic glamour, sweep up a staircase in a bold geometric runner or turn a ceiling into the most exciting surface in the room!

The contrast creates instant energy, while layers of pattern, texture and scale keep it polished, inviting and anything but predictable!

Give it a try in one beautifully chosen spot!! You don’t need to commit to an entire room to bring home the confidence and sophistication of black and white!

There’s nothing better than getting to the end of an installation and finally seeing all those details come together!!

For Battleground Butcher Bar, I wanted the design to feel connected to the building, the neighborhood and the whole idea behind the restaurant. Vintage farm tools, warm woods, industrial touches and collected pieces give the space character and a sense of history, while still keeping it fresh, comfortable and welcoming.

I can’t wait for Greensboro, NC to experience this place! Which design detail catches your eye first? Tell me below, then make plans to see it all in person at Butcher Bar!

What if the ultimate luxury isn’t getting away…it’s loving your home so much you don’t feel the need to escape it?!

We spend so much time dreaming about that feeling we get at a favorite hotel, beach house or vacation spot, but I believe your own home should give you some of that same sense of ease every single day!

That doesn’t mean making your house look like a resort. It means figuring out what makes those places feel so good. Comfortable seating you actually want to sink into, beautiful natural materials, warm layered lighting, spaces that flow effortlessly and rooms that make everyone want to stay just a little longer.

Whether I’m designing in the Hamptons, Florida or Manhattan, the goal is always personal: create a home that belongs to its surroundings, works beautifully for the way my clients really live and feels like their own version of a retreat.

I’m sharing much more about The New American Retreat on the blog. Head to the link in bio to read it and tell me: what makes your home feel like an escape?

Battleground Butcher Bar is coming to LIFE, and THIS is the part I absolutely love!!

There’s a very specific personality we’ve been building into Butcher Bar, and install day is when you finally get to see it show up everywhere you look! The artwork gets its perfect spot, the shelves start filling up, tables and chairs find their homes, accessories add those little layers of personality, and suddenly this former auto shop starts feeling like the warm, welcoming neighborhood gathering place Taylor envisioned.

And yes, I’m right in the middle of ALL of it, directing, tweaking, styling and jumping in wherever I can!

That hands-on part is so much fun for me because Butcher Bar isn’t just a beautiful interior. It’s my client’s dream becoming a real place where people are going to meet for a drink, grab dinner, pick up something delicious to take home and become part of the Butcher Bar community!

I cannot WAIT for you to see the finished space!! Follow along because we have so much more to show you! 🥩🍸
