frangipane tart β¨π
Ingredients π΄
1 pie crust (pre-made or homemade) π₯§
100g butter (softened) π§
100g sugar π¬
100g ground almonds π°
2 eggs π₯
1 tsp vanilla extract π¨
4 tbsp jam (any flavor you like) πππ
2 tbsp apricot glaze or additional jam for topping π

Prepare the pie crust: Roll out the pie crust and press it into a tart pan. Prick the bottom with a fork and set aside. π₯§π΄
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F). π₯
Make the almond filling: In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. π§π¬
Add eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Then fold in the ground almonds. π₯π¨π°
Spread the jam: Take your tart crust and spread an even layer of jam on the bottom. π
Add the almond mixture: Pour the almond mixture over the jam, smoothing the top. π§
Bake: Place the tart in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and set. π
Add glaze: Once the tart is out of the oven, warm the apricot glaze (or more jam) in a small pan and brush it over the top of the tart for a shiny finish. β¨π
Let it cool: Allow the tart to cool completely before serving. π½
