What would you all guess for the age and score on this guy? 🦌

He’s been hanging around with that impressive rack, and I’ve been trying to get a better idea of just how mature he might be. From the body size, neck, and overall build, he definitely looks like a solid buck, but I know judging age from a photo can be tricky.

And then there are those antlers… plenty of height, good tine length, and a nice frame. I’d love to hear everyone’s best guess on what he might score.

The funny part is, he still refuses to drop those sheds! 🤣 Every time I think he’s finally going to lose them, he proves me wrong.

So what do you think—how old would you put him, and what would you guess he scores?

What are everyone’s thoughts on this Arkansas buck? 🦌

He definitely caught my attention the moment I saw the picture. He’s carrying a really impressive frame with plenty of height, long tines, and a lot going on up top. The more I look at him, the more curious I get about what everyone else would estimate.

For those of you who are good at judging deer from trail-camera photos, what would you guess for his age and score? I know pictures can make it tough to be exact, but I’d love to hear everyone’s best estimate.

This one is from Arkansas, and he’s definitely one of those bucks that makes you stop scrolling and look twice. What do y’all think?

Had a pretty unexpected visitor show up in the woods today, and I definitely had to stop and take a second look. Seeing a white deer standing out against all that green was such a striking sight.

It was calmly grazing near the edge of the clearing like it belonged there, while everything around it blended into the usual browns and greens of the forest. The contrast made it almost impossible to miss.

I don’t get to see something like this very often, so I’m glad I happened to catch the moment. Nature always seems to have a way of surprising you when you least expect it.

Definitely one of those sightings that makes you stop what you’re doing and just watch for a while. 🤍🦌🌲

I’m thinking this buck could be pushing the 200-inch mark, but I’d love to hear what everyone else sees. 🦌

That spread alone really grabs your attention, and he’s carrying some serious length across the frame. From this angle, the rack looks incredibly wide with long sweeping beams and enough tine length to make you start doing the math in your head.

Trail-camera pictures can definitely make estimating tough, especially with perspective and no perfect reference point, but this one looks like a giant to me.

What do y’all think—is he realistically pushing 200, or am I getting carried away by that width? Drop your best score estimate below.

I’m starting to think the neighbors have been letting their “cat” wander around outside at night again… 😂

Checked the trail camera and found this visitor casually strolling through the yard like it owns the place. Definitely a little bigger than the average house cat, and not exactly the kind of surprise you expect to see near the bird feeders after dark.

It’s always amazing what shows up once everyone is asleep and the woods get quiet. You can live somewhere for years and still have no idea what’s passing through your property at night until you put up a camera.

Guess I’ll be keeping an extra-close eye on the nighttime pictures for a while. 😅🐾

Anyone else ever check their camera expecting deer or raccoons and end up finding something much more impressive?

Caught this visitor passing through on the trail camera, and I had to share it because it definitely grabbed my attention.

At first glance it looks like a coyote, but the darker coloring and overall build make it a little more interesting than the ones I usually see. Trail-camera pictures can sometimes make colors and proportions look different depending on the light, so I’m curious what everyone else thinks.

It was just casually making its way through the woods near the feeder like it owned the place.

What do y’all think—just a dark-colored coyote, or something else? 🐾

For anyone wondering if this is AI—it’s not. These are real trail-camera photos showing what can happen when you stick with the “he needs another year” mindset.

The top photo is the buck before, and the bottom photo shows what he turned into after getting more time to grow. The difference in his body and antler development is pretty incredible.

It can definitely be hard to let a promising buck walk when he already looks good, but sometimes giving him that extra year really pays off. This is exactly why I enjoy watching individual deer over multiple seasons and seeing how much they can change.

So yes, the “needs another year” approach really can work. Sometimes patience gives you a completely different deer the following season. 🦌🔥

Just wanted to introduce myself and share one of the bucks that’s been showing up on my trail camera. 🦌

I’ve really enjoyed watching the deer in this area and seeing how they change throughout the season. This guy definitely caught my attention with his nice frame and overall look, so I figured he was worth sharing with everyone here.

I’m looking forward to following along with the group, seeing everyone else’s trail-camera pictures, and learning from all the different opinions and experiences.

Caught this visitor on the trail camera behind my house, and now there’s a little debate going on about what exactly it is.

Someone is telling me this is just a full-grown dog, but I have to say, if that’s a dog, it’s one of the most coyote-looking dogs I’ve ever seen. The body shape, pointed ears, long muzzle, and bushy tail definitely have me thinking otherwise.

I know nighttime trail-camera photos can make animals look a little different, so I’m curious what everyone else sees.

What say you—coyote, dog, or something else? 🐾

Last year this mama bear showed up with three cubs, and this year she’s back with four little ones following along behind her. It’s been really neat getting to see her return and watching her family grow from one season to the next.

Seeing a mother bear with that many cubs is such an impressive sight, especially when they all stay close and move through the area together. The little ones are curious, busy, and always seem to be exploring while she keeps an eye on everything around them.

I thought three cubs last year was something special, but four this year definitely surprised me. It makes me wonder if she’ll keep coming back to the same area in the years ahead.

Nature really does give you some incredible moments when you’re lucky enough to catch them. 🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻
