I stopped by yesterday. It was opening day of . The show is a great place to understand trends in the furniture and design industry. What did I see? Polished metals, rich unapologetic color, soft shapes, lighting as sculpture, and in the section, some great experimental design. I love visiting old projects. I was invited by a former client for a walkthrough of a home we designed a number of years ago. The house overlooks the Hunt Club in Westport CT and was designed in the modern farmhouse aesthetic just at the start of its popularity. The house was a finalist for a award and featured it in a story about farmhouses. Today’s visit was wonderful. It brought back so many happy memories. And it was just as good as I remembered it!✨
