It was another busy day…accepting and inspecting a furniture delivery for the construction site that’s not quite ready to receive the furniture! Storing it on site will avoid additional storage fees. More furniture to come next week!

I’m excited to officially post our design of this Community Center in Holbrook which is the result of a full gut renovation. It transformed the space completely into a sophisticated and inviting space for residents to relax and enjoy.

From the lounge seating to the formal dining area to the private Workspace, residents of Heatherwood’s Spruce Pond rental property expand their apartment’s living space whenever they want.

We’re proud that this is our sixth major project for this client!

I loved the experience of going to the US Open during Fan Week. Even though I saw only qualifying rounds for singles I still thought it was amazing to see first hand the actual speed of a serve hit at 112 and 133 mph (among other crazy speeds!) It’s incredible!

I also saw Mixed Doubles Championship games which were also so fun. This will be a new annual event for me. How did this native NYer never make it there before?!

What a special ceiling this is! Not only is the stained glass beautiful but each of the little papers has one of the story’s things that make this world worth living for: ice cream, a good sneeze, waking up after a long sleep with someone you love…

Calling all architectural fans! You must go see The Met’s new exhibit Gothic By Design which features parchments from the 1300s and 1400s with amazing, detailed drawings of tracery and spires. Some of these drawings took decades with multiple architects conveying their ideas of structure and beauty!

It brings me back to my days at Parsons School of Design when we were tasked with drafting a detailed historic building. The hours of painstaking pencil drawing was exhausting but ultimately exhilarating. I can’t even imagine what these people accomplished in unforgiving ink drawings!!

It was a good day at LEDucation 2026 seeing many new lighting products. It’s the best way to keep up with all the new offerings! And then what a great spot to take a break: sitting by purple tulips in the sun on this beautiful Spring day!

This small gallery was a great find! These sculptures by Byeongdoo Moon are sensitive with each figure having an inner life as well as the smooth and gentle sculpting of the steel rods. Gallery, 6th Ave and 42nd St.
