"There's no place like home and I felt that it was time to go and spend some time back home. I'm a born and bred New Yorker. My mom is currently undergoing a very harsh round of chemotherapy as she continues her valiant battle with Stage Four Breast Cancer. "If I have learned anything from "Dorothy Gale", it's that you have to have the wisdom to be there for your friends/family when they need your love and courage the most." "I went back west for my husbands health and having escaped the harsh East Coast winter (for the sunshine of Sin City) which is so hard on my husbands own health and after a wonderful run at The Space in Las Vegas , it just seemed like everything fell into place at the right time. Also, The Producers Club was where I first set foot on a stage as Judy for the very first time some 16 years ago this upcoming November. My cabaret concerts have always had a very strong theatrical sensibility, so bringing our cabaret concerts into that theater is the perfect marriage (and no pesky food or drink minimum to get in the way). Audience members have so many marvelous food and drink options right in the heart of Time Square to enjoy either before after the show. Judy was at home at the Place and I'm at home...at The Producers Club!"- Peter Mac

The entire show is sung live by Mac who has won awards for his accurate and loving portrayal of the woman Tony Bennet called "The World's Greatest Entertainer." Though June 22, 2017 also marked the 48th Anniversary of Judy's untimely passing at the tender age of 47. Mac treats Judy as if she never left us. Her voice is in top form, she looks great, and we are regaled with the songs she made famous. As well as a few that have never been heard before. Recent celebrities in Mac's audiences include Mila Kunis (star of that 70's show, and Garland's costar in Meet Me In St. Louis, Margaret O'Brien. Mila Kunis said "Peter Mac is Judy Garland I can not wait to see this show again!"
One of the many nights Margaret O'Brien came, she brought Peter a note and said to read it onstage, but not beforehand. The note read, "Have a great opening! Sorry we couldn't be with you tonight. All the best on a successful run. Love, Joey Luft and Liza Minnelli." Talk about emotional. The Garland heirs are very wary of Judy impersonators - especially in the gay community - because they often play up or make up negative aspects of her life. Mac puts it best: "Judy's perceived problems were a very small thread in a very large tapestry in an AMAZING life and career. And that's not why Judy's so loved and well remembered. She was not a tragic figure." As such the show show is a loving and affectionate tribute to the World's Greatest Entertainer. It is both critically acclaimed and award winning. Peter Mac as Judy Garland won the prestigious Motion Picture Council Award for his "Portrayal of Judy Garland". The award was presented to him by Margaret O'Brien and the late great Mickey Rooney in a gala celebration. Mickey Rooney in his presentation speech about Peter as Judy said:"This is beyond an imitation. Peter Mac is Phenomenal!"
We believe a legend never dies! So won't you join us in Vegas? Come see the show that more than 3 Million people have seen live in the 14 years that Peter has been paying tribute to this amazing icon.
