I can do anything, but I’ve learned I can’t do everything💫

for a while, I thought being a business owner meant wearing every single hat: designer, bookkeeper, marketer, brand strategist…the list goes on📝

but handing pieces of my business over to people who are experts in what they do didn’t make me less involved - it gave me the space to be more involved where I’m actually meant to be 🪩✨

the more I’ve trusted my village, the more of myself I’ve been able to pour back into the design work, channeling my own creativity, and most importantly - getting to know my clients.✨💕

turns out, building a business isn’t about doing it all - it’s about building a village you trust…and learning what only you can do. ✨🦄

one designer rule I love to live by is always bringing the outside in. 🌿

a little flora (or fauna!) can go a long way in making sure a space never feels stale 🍀 whether it’s with a botanical wallpaper, floral fabric, leafy branches, nature-inspired artwork, or even a shell collected on vacation, those small yet organic touches will instantly make a room feel more alive.

and if you happen to have a favorite animal? …even better! I never pass up an opportunity for a fun monkey, shark, bird, or butterfly moment. 🐒🦈🦋

if a room feels like it’s missing something but you can’t quite put your finger on it, chances are it could use a little more of the outdoors brought in 🌳✨

one of my favorite parts of the process is figuring out what stays✨

during our first walkthrough, I’m already thinking about what can be reupholstered, refinished, dyed, trimmed, or reimagined. the goal isn’t to erase your home. it’s to build on it💫
