Already few panels of Straw Marquetry Diamond or Fan pattern finished. 6 to go I think. The border in butt joint pattern is done last to frame each panel.

Special studio visit from our friend and talented musician, composer Alexander Liebermann … he brought a few copies of his new book - Birdsong, a Musical Field Guide. Alex recorded birds in the wild, and then transcribed the songs into sheet music.. the book has charming illustrations by and foreword by … published by … we are thrilled to have a few signed copies in the shop at Industry City. More to come, and eventually on our web-store. Bravo Alex!!! Photo of Annie, who has played piano since age 5, who bought the first copy today! 🎹🎼🎵🕊😍❤️
