We're honored to be featured in The New York Times article highlighting the exciting transformation underway in downtown Newburgh.
Thank you to reporter Alex Marvar for telling this story and to photographer Kate Warren for capturing both our shop and the spirit of Newburgh so beautifully.
The article focuses on the work of Foster Supply Hospitality, whose restoration of three historic Grand Street buildings will bring a boutique hotel, conference center, spa, and event spaces to downtown Newburgh. Congratulations to the Foster Supply team on this significant investment in our city and its future.
As longtime residents and business owners, Eric and I have seen many plans come and go over the years. That's why we were honored to share our perspective in the article. We are encouraged by the progress being made and optimistic about what this project could mean for Newburgh's economy, tourism, historic preservation, and small business community.
We're grateful to be part of a city filled with creative, resilient people who continue to believe in Newburgh's potential.
Thank you to everyone who supports Newburgh Mercantile and the many independent businesses that make our downtown so special.
