Dylan's Designs: Raw to Refined After 10 years in retail, it was time to use my degree in Jewelry and Metalworking. I moved back home to be a full time maker. I work in wood and metal.

Here are the fruits of my labor making things of beauty from inexpensive and reclaimed materials.

copper wire forms a bail that resembles the handle of a skillet represented by a copper end cap polished and filled with a variety of small shells frozen in place with epoxy resin. The wire then spills into wisps of copper steam with a pumice bead as accent that may resemble charcoal. MP-21

Brass is forged into a maple tree's seed casing It's curled stem enclosing an agate bead to represent the seed and accented with tiny Celtic swirls. The whole is paired with a pure white feather to represent the wind ushering the seed to earth. MP-18
