The Cochran House living room 🤎

This room came together through a mix of warm woods, soft neutrals, texture, and a few darker elements to give the space some weight. We added the ceiling beam to bring warmth overhead, then carried those natural tones through the woven shades, antique coffee table, and wood furniture.

I wanted the room to feel like it was gathered over time, rather than overly styled, so we mixed old and new pieces and kept the palette quiet. The patterned fireplace surround added just enough detail without competing with everything else, while the oversized sectional made the room comfortable and functional for everyday life.

It’s simple, warm, and a little moody, which ended up being exactly what this room needed.

The kitchen at Cochran House was one of those projects that took a lot of patience to see through, but the end result made it worth it.

We kept things warm and simple with natural wood cabinetry, creamy whites, aged brass, and a mix of pattern and texture. I love the little details throughout, especially the open cabinet, brass rail, and the contrast between the wood tones and the cabinetry just beyond the kitchen.

There were a lot of decisions packed into a relatively small space, and seeing everything finally come together was incredibly rewarding.

Definitely one of those transformations I’ll always remember.

A bedroom should feel like an exhale. Soft, warm, collected and personal. A place where the day gets quiet and everything feels a little slower.

More than a beautiful room, it should feel like a place you can truly rest.

This project has truly been a labor of love. Designing this Airbnb for those seeking a home away from home, right in the heart of Newnan, GA.

We have been incredibly fortunate to create this house while residing in it, ensuring that every visitor has everything they need to savor each moment in every space. Each room has been thoughtfully curated to provide what I like to call “pockets of peace”, space to actually slow down, breathe, live.

What I affectionately refer to as “The Cochran House” will soon be ready for new visitors to create lasting memories.

More to come…

This space has been thoughtfully designed from the beginning. Although a room may not always present a clear vision of the final design, if we pay attention, the room has a way of revealing its own story.

Thought I’d finally introduce myself.

I’m Ansley, the face behind Sevin House. I’m an interior designer, artist, and someone who genuinely loves creating spaces that feel warm, lived in, and full of soul.

I’ve always been drawn to homes that tell a story. The quiet corners, layered textures, soft light, old pieces with history, and the feeling of walking into a space that instantly makes you exhale.

I’m really glad you’re here.
