If there was anywhere I’d recommend someone go in Italy, it would be Palazzo Daniele in Puglia. Not because it’s trendy. Not because it’s impossible to get into. But because it’s one of those rare places that changes the way you see design.

The architecture is grand yet restrained. Historic yet contemporary. Every room feels like a conversation between old and new, where neither is trying to overpower the other.
What stays with me most is the feeling. The quiet. The scale. The way centuries-old details sit effortlessly alongside modern art and furnishings. Nothing feels forced. Nothing feels overdesigned.

It’s a reminder that the most memorable spaces aren’t always the most elaborate. They’re the ones that know exactly what they are. A place I’ve thought about long after leaving—and one I’ll continue recommending to anyone headed to Italy.

One of the questions I get asked is “How do you choose hardware?”

In my eyes, hardware is like the jewelry of a home. It’s often one of the smallest details in a space, but it can completely influence how everything feels.

Aged brass feels warm and collected. Polished nickel feels timeless. Black can add contrast and definition. Sometimes, an unexpected shape becomes the detail that elevates a room to another level.

There isn’t a “right” choice. The best hardware is the one tbat supports the story you’re trying to tell throughout the home.

Getting to visit the factory in Italy was one of those experiences that stays with you.

They’re a family-run brand with generations of history behind it, but what stood out most was how personal everything still felt. The craftsmanship, the attention to detail, the pride behind every single product… you could feel it the second you stepped on the property.

Seeing firsthand how these kitchens come to life gave us such a deeper appreciation for the brand and the people behind it. Truly such an inspiring experience. Watch the full video on my Youtube now xx
