❄️ If you drove by yesterday and saw a crazy lady walking across the inside window ledges, arms above her head, and looking like she may fall off a shaky ladder at any second… that was Kristen. And yes, there was a plan. And no, she didn’t end up with an injury bigger than accidentally getting a finger too close to the thread of a screw. 😂

With that said…..the new lights are up, we’ve made approximately 472 trips to the storage units, had about as many “I don’t know where do you want it” chats and the Christmas takeover at Leona May’s has officially begun!

When will we be fully Christmas? Excellent question. We’ll let you know when we locate the answer in one of these totes. 🤣

In the meantime, we’ve got sales scattered throughout the building! Come snag some deals, check out the decorating progress, and see what festive chaos we’ve gotten ourselves into.

‼️THE RAILROAD WORK IS DONE ‼️

We are thankful that the workers were able to get in and do the job quicker than expected. We didn’t realize that there would be a large “road closed, only local traffic” sign just a few yards up the road from us.

But, we did a whole lot of moving around and there’s new inventory from the gift shoppe and several vendors! Come see what you’re going to take home and add to your collection!

New items, gifts, collectibles, vintage, custom designed cribbage boards & clothing, small batch treats, and so SO sOoOoO much more!

A heads up to our wonderful patrons!! We are closed today per usual BUT, this news needed to make its way to you all as soon as possible.

Newport is having some work done on the Elm Street railroad crossing (as you can see in the screenshot below😅). So, with that being said….all traffic coming from pretty much anywhere beside our southbound interstate peeps (that use the Ridge Road exit) are good to go…no worries for you guys….

Southbound-ers that use the Ridge Road/East Newport exit (159)….make sure to use exit 157 (the next exit down), take a right and bypass the roundabout by staying to the right!

We are at the Nokomis Music Boosters Craft Fair today from 9-3 (291 Williams Road, Newport). We are also open at the shop as usual from 10-4 today! Make sure to stop by both places on your Saturday adventures!! (We are in the middle school gym).

This post is going to be a bit different than our others. It’s a “thanks for believing in us” post. We want to give a shoutout to our longest standing vendors of booth #127. Some of their booth is pictured in the first photo. It all started in 2017 when we rented a booth in their shop, the then Route 2 Antiques in Carmel, and our love for the business grew from there. The encouragement we got since day one truly lead us to where we are today. So, thank you to you both. You’re not only vendors but you’re family.
