Taking before-and-after photos is a classic NSV and a great way to measure your progress! You can take them once a month, at the beginning and end of a workout program, or even weekly.

Remember to take a picture at the same time of day, preferably right when you wake up, before breakfast, to get the most consistent proof of your results. Seeing changes with these images side by side will help you see your success over time better than looking in the mirror!

For our final Tasty Treat let’s skip the expensive, sugary store-bought ice cream and make this easy, healthier Wonder Whip!

Ingredients
1 cup reduced-fat (2%) plain Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp. unsweetened shredded coconut
1 Tbsp. cacao nibs
2 tsp. pure cacao powder
1 tsp. pure vanilla (or coconut) extract
Pure maple syrup (or raw honey*) (to taste; optional)

Instructions
Combine yogurt, coconut, cacao nibs, cacao powder, extract, and maple syrup (if desired) in a medium bowl; mix well.

As we are approaching our final days in the Self Love Club I wanted to ask, how are you doing?
Like, how are you REALLY doing? Maybe I am the first person to ask you that in a while! Usually I find that I am doing so much for others that I forget to check back in on me, so I hope you take a second to do that for yourself today!

While optimism helps during times like these, the truth is that sometimes a bad day will come along. I want this group to be a place where we gain physical AND mental strength to face anything that comes our way.

We are so fortunate to have a virtual community like this to share our journeys with! If you’ve tried wellness and nutrition goal-getting on your own, you know how much harder it is to stay on track when you are the only one who knows what your goals are. Here, there is no hiding; you always have someone to turn to for support, somewhere to ask questions and something to look forward to each and every day!

Let’s face it… our bodies are pretty incredible! Not only does it carry you through your whole day, but it supports you through that last 10 minutes of a cardio workout, last rep of leg day and lengthening that stretch you just could not get a month ago!

Despite what you might believe about yourself, today, I want to remind you that you are NOT a problem to be fixed. If you’ve fallen off track, there isn’t anything wrong with you, and your perceived flaws do not make you weak, unlovable, or unsuccessful.

Look, you can’t hate yourself into changing your life. The areas of your life that you struggle with and are trying so hard to “fix” … they need your love, not your negativity. So don’t spend your time sending hate or negative thoughts to yourself!

Instead, why not show yourself some compassion and love. I know this is easier said than done, but I’m talking about unconditional self-love, friends… right where you are, right now.

Live like you love yourself.
Eat like you love yourself.
Move like you love yourself.
Speak like you love yourself.

You deserve it!

6 Self Love Rules To Live By

Remember that your body is an opportunity, not a scapegoat.
YOU are your primary source of confidence; do not rely on others to define your worth.
Change your inner monologue to one that sees possibility, not problems, potential, not shortcomings, blessings, not imperfections.
Exercise is a way to improve your internal health and strength, not a way to punish or control your body.
Do not put off the things you wish to experience because you are waiting to do them in a different body.
Your body is an instrument, not an ornament.

Chocolate & Peanut Butter lovers - this recipe is for YOU! Tantalizing ingredients like all-natural peanut butter, decadent chocolate, coconut flour, and pure maple syrup. Yes please! I mean really, who can resist peanut butter and chocolate? (Answer: NO ONE.) Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 cup all-natural smooth peanut butter
1 Tbsp. cornstarch (preferably GMO-free)
¾ cup coconut flour
2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
Hot water
8 oz. semisweet chocolate, 62% cocoa or higher, chopped
2 tsp. extra-virgin organic coconut oil, unrefined

Instructions
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
Combine peanut butter, cornstarch, coconut flour, and maple syrup in a medium bowl; blend well with a spatula until mixture forms a uniform dough.
Using clean hands, shape dough into twenty-four 1-inch balls; place a toothpick in the center of each ball. Place on prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Fill a small saucepan with 2 inches of water; bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low.
Place a heat-proof mixing bowl over saucepan. Add chocolate and oil. Stir for 2 to 3 minutes, or until just melted. Make sure water does not splash into the bowl.
Remove balls from refrigerator. Hold a ball by the toothpick and dip into chocolate, swirling to completely coat. Return to baking sheet. Repeat with each ball. (For any uncoated areas, coat carefully with a spoon dipped into chocolate.)
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until chocolate has hardened.
Store in airtight container in the refrigerator.

Serves 24 (1 ball each)
Container Equivalents: 1 Yellow, 1 tsp

It’s easy to get discouraged if you focus solely on the scale. There are several reasons for this:

- Bloating happens
- Sodium can cause you to retain weight
- Your monthly cycle can affect your weight
- Your cardiovascular health or strength isn’t measured in weight
- Muscle is more dense than fat

Basically, there are too many factors that contribute to your weight to have that be your ONLY measure of success!

When was the last time you got sucked into social media? Mindlessly scrolling, deep diving into a random follow’s photos, captions, haves and all the things you “have not”.

No judgment here, I think we all have done it. For some, it can be a guilty pleasure. A quick Instagram check after a long day of work… fine. But Saturday’s are all about self-love, so let’s ask ourselves, does your time on social media take away from the self-love you have for yourself?

Do you feel better or worse after scrolling? Has social media ever had a negative effect on a relationship you have? Are the people you follow enriching, entertaining or engaging you in some way?

If you’ve been wondering how often you should be writing in your Self Love Journal, I’m here to let you know, it’s as often as you like. In the beginning, I told you there's no right or wrong way to journal. So just go where the pen flows with this one.

It’s just important to remember, just like anything else, Journaling will only help you if you actually do it! Keep your journal somewhere accessible and try to fit it regularly into your routine, this makes it easier to remember.
