Thinking about summer this cold February - Last July my sons, Ryan and Chad, and Ryan's girlfriend, Siobhan, went to the Buskers' Festival in Kingston, Ontario. We performed there every summer for about 9 years while Ryan and Chad were growing up. Hanging out with my adult sons and sharing the experience with Siobhan was awesome.

This is another beautiful guest room that showcased antiques. We had the small chair and stool painted and reupholstered to repair them.

One of my favorite things about being an Interior Designer is meeting and working with amazing people like Laura. As Marcel Proust once wrote, "Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."

Laura's guest rooms also had a makeover in Coastal style. It was amazing how existing antiques and family pieces became beautifully showcased with the new Coastal style.

Laura has a beautiful bar off the Kitchen for which we found the perfect rug. The Breakfast Area sports a beautiful new chandelier.

We had all the walls in the house painted to match Laura's new esthetic. We painted the chairs in the Breakfast Area also, and had new pads made for the chairs.

Laura wanted to keep the existing floor and cabinets in the kitchen, so we chose this lovely blue for the lower cabinets and one of Benjamin Moore's 150 whites for the upper cabinets. New backsplash tiles and a new quartz counter completed the look.
