My name is Stephanie, and I make natural soy and beeswax candles with my mother, Diane. I strive to protect this one Earth that we have. Because of this, the candles that we make are only made from soy and beeswax. We choose to not use paraffin wax that may be cheaper because of the fumes that they release when burning which are quite similar and just as dangerous as the fumes released by diesel f
uels. Our name, Apple Seitter Candles has a twofold meaning: first; we wanted something personal and one of a kind. What could be more personal than our last name? Because of our last name being Seitter, a dear friend of mine who has since passed graced me the the nickname Apple Seitter. Our Apple Seitter Candles are handmade by the two of us with natural waxes and we are constantly experimenting with new scents and combinations. We hope to soon offer candles made with wood wicks to add a little something extra to your purchase. We have always been people who loved to create, to craft, and to inspire. This started as a project just for ourselves. Shortly thereafter we realized the grand yet simple joy of a candle. We find it wondrous how the simple scent of a candle can have such an effect on a person's mood; how a scent can bring the joy of a holiday, reignite the memories and feelings of the past, or simply lighten a heavy heart. We are looking to share this experience, and the joy of a comforting scent with people both near and far.
