Throwback to my first wedding at which was also my first wedding working with who has become a great friend and mentor. Raquel and Andrew looked like they stepped out of a magazine, and were so FUN to plan with! It was a celebration full of smiles, laughter, lots of love and sentiment, and colorful florals to match the vibe, captured so beautifully by . I really fell in love with my career choice with this one ❤️

I've been getting so many requests for floral frog arrangements and I could seriously do them all day! I think what I love about them, is that every stem placement is so intentional. Keep them coming!!!

Last post about experimenting with lilies this week. I wanted to do a low centerpiece that would be appropriate for a dinner table. It's always important to keep the height in mind when designing centerpieces so your guest's views aren't obstructed when they are having conversations. I ordered a bunch of euphorbia martinii which almost reminded me of oncidium orchids, and I love their chartreuse color with that tiny splash of merlot. I was supposed to have tulips in that same color to pick up the accent color but they arrived more purple so I skipped them. 😞 The snake allium I bought almost TWO months ago is still going strong, so I added a few stems to create movement along with the saracinea to try to pick up that pop of wine. I don't hate it 😊

Lilies but make it dainty. Sounds like a paradox but I wanted to give it a whirl since petite bouquets are so on trend and ilies are making a comeback. They can be overpowering due to their voluminous size but they are so gorgeous I picked a few up at Trader Joe's last week. Tricky to time, they usually have one to two open blooms with more buds attached, so it's good to order early to give them time to open, and you MUST remove their anthers (the little rusty colored nodules on the tips of the stamens) because the pollen can stain anything it touches (ahem white wedding gowns) and we don't want that! I trimmed all of the leaves off for clean stems and added in some Callas, Veronica, and white Tweedia. Sweet and simple and it smells SO GOOD!
