Hey y'all! Thanks for checking out our page!! We are Tamara and Olivia, two best friends with a love and passion for working with our hands and creating. When we aren't working our day jobs or engrossed in one of our many other hobbies, we are crafting! These signs are a result of our love of designing and creating, taking something old and turning it into something new!
Our signs begin in the form reclaimed wood, most often as pallets. We first must tear the pallets apart, rip the nails out, and trim each board to a usable piece. Often these boards are full of nail holes, cracked, and bowed. With a little bit of time, elbow grease, and lots of patience the boards are made usable. Over the next few days we spend a good deal of time gluing, trimming, and sanding until each sign base is ready to be stained and painted, our favorite part. Each sign is painted by hand. Each word is written out by hand. We do not use stencils. This means every single sign is unique and irreplicable.
If you look closely at each of our signs, you may see imperfections, after all we are using imperfect materials. However we feel those imperfection are a perfect representation of who we are as individuals. We are imperfect people being trimmed, sanded, and polished by our Creator into something new and beautiful. Every sign we make is created with love in hopes of spreading love and joy to those around us!
