Custom Handrails? No problem! Our team knocked this one out of the park and just in time for next week's reopening of St. Patrick's Church in Hubbard. Between our drafter, fabricators, and installers all working off very limited plans they made the architects and Church's vision a reality. Beautiful work gentleman!

Our crew has been making great progress at the Erie Insurance project! We have been fortunate to have good weather in February and these guys have cramped in a lot of labor hours of work in the last couple of weeks to make it happen! We are proud of these guys for taking on such a challenging project! Keep up the great work!

As I am reflecting on the end of the year I can't find the words to express my gratitude for the employees we have. From office staff, fabricators, and installers, we have a top notch crew who impress me daily. We accepted some big challenges in 2023 and everyone accepted the uncomfortable challenges without hesitation. We craned in 14 pieces of glass this week at Erie Insurance HQ, something we have never done before and quite possibly will never do again. Another crew is working at the WGH Rec and Wellness center and is installing one of the largest curtain walls in the Mahoning Valley. They are incredibly talented and extremely skilled. They sacrifice so much time from their families for this company and I am so thankful for them all. I couldn't be more proud of the people that I get to work with daily. Merry Christmas to you all and to all of our amazing customers who continue to partner with us on these amazing projects! Cheers to a great 2024!

After 12 months of planning, engineering, and material procurement we are getting close to making this conceptual drawing become a reality! This all glass structural Finwall system will be the new entrance at the Erie Insurance HQ located in Erie, PA. This will serve as one of the largest Finwall systems in the United States when complete. The vertical structural glass fins will be one piece of glass at a WILD 57-foot length, 1.5 inches thick, and 30 inches in depth, weighing in at roughly 4,500 lbs each. The glass fins are currently in transit via ship from Germany as no one in the United States has the ability to produce glass at such lengths. The system is hung from the steel truss above rather than bearing the weight onto the structure below. The total weight of the Finwall system hanging from the steel truss will be over 100,000 lbs!

Our crew has spent the last few days hanging nearly 50,000 lbs of concrete from the structure for surveying and to ensure the camber of the truss has relieved as engineered. This project is a very exciting opportunity and challenge for our entire team, and who doesn't love a good challenge!

We are very pleased and proud to have been a part of this local project! The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning Valley is another great representation of the investment being made in the Valley. IGC served as a subcontractor for the glass and glazing scope to AM Higley. The renovation and addition scope consisted of aluminum storefront and curtain wall, operable windows, glass awnings, interior office storefronts, FRP doors, aluminum skylights, and decorative glass in the existing skylight atrium. As usual our installers did a fantastic job on this project!
