Decorate a fake gingerbread cookie with me 🤎🍪 The final piping step might just be my favorite part…It’s SO satisfying watching them finally come to life!

Want to know what goes into making one of these little faux cookies? ⬇️

1. Massage + roll out the clay
2. Cut out each cookie shape
3. Let them dry for DAYS, constantly flipping them front to back so they dry properly
4. Paint each cookie with multiple coats until it has that realistic baked gingerbread look
5. Let them dry… again 😅
6. Add all of the final “piped” details you see in this video
7. And you guessed it… let them dry one more time!

There’s a whole lot of time, patience, flipping, painting and love packed into these little fake cookies, but the best part is that they can be enjoyed Christmas after Christmas! 🤎

Totally worth it, if you ask me 🎄🍪

Where my witches at?! 🧙‍♀️ Have you seen Practical Magic 2 yet?! I haven’t made it to the theater yet, so no spoilers 🙏😂🖤

Apparently one of the witches had one too many midnight margaritas and ended up headfirst in the cauldron with this one lol 🍹🔮🎃

Tonight I was working away in my studio when this little guy came in to say goodnight before bedtime 🥹💙

One of my favorite parts about being a small business owner and having my studio right here at home is getting little moments like this!

Sometimes the boys wander in while I’m creating, ask a million questions, watch what I’m doing… and every once in a while they get to create something of their own too 🥰

Tonight Liam made his very own little fake cupcake and we turned it into a magnet for our refrigerator 🧁✨ And seriously… look how proud he is 😭

There are definitely days when balancing being a mom and running a business from home feels completely chaotic lol but then there are moments like this that make me realize how special it is that my kids get to grow up watching me create something from nothing!

And apparently I’m also training my future employees 😂 Give him a few more years and he might be taking over the fake baking department lol

For now, his masterpiece has a very important place on our fridge 💙🧁

Yesterday was one of those days that just filled my cup! 🤍✨

What started as a little impromptu birthday photo shoot at lunch turned into some of my favorite pictures and the sweetest way to remember such a special day!

I spent my birthday surrounded by people I love, got spoiled by my family, had the best time with a dear friend, and felt so incredibly loved by every text, message, comment, and birthday wish that came my way!

Thank you to everyone who took a second out of their day to make mine feel special. My heart and my cup both feel very, very full! Special shoutout to Rachel Fisher who took these amazing photos of me and treated me like a Queen all morning, idk what I did to deserve a friend like you but I am so grateful! 🥹🤍

And of course I had to bring along my ridiculously extra gemstone fake cake I made for myself because apparently a normal birthday cake was never going to happen 😂✨

Just a teeny tiny peek 👀💎
My birthday is this Thursday, which obviously means I’ve been working on my own fake birthday cake instead of behaving like a normal person 😂 And I mayyyyy have taken “birthday sparkle” a little too seriously this year! ✨

I couldn’t let National Dog Day pass without sharing some of my favorite fake doggie cakes + pup moments! 🐾🎂🤎

Seeing these cakes next to the dogs they were made for will never not be adorable to me! 😂
