🗣 It's here, folks! Session 1 Registration is live on our website. Run, don't walk, to the link in our Bio to sign up for the next session. We can't wait to see what you create!

🎫 Claim your spots quickly as a lot of our classes sell out!

What do we offer? Our studio primarily focuses on wheel-throwing classes. Beginner 1 is great for those who are new to wheel-throwing or want to explore the basics, while Beginner 2 is great for students who are familiar wheel-throwing and want to further develop their skills. Intermediate wheel is also available for folks who have more experience, and thrive in a group setting where they can work a bit more independently.

Whether you're new to clay or just looking for a place to work, we hope you'll enjoy joining our thriving community!

All of this session's classes include: 25 pounds of clay, firings, dipping glazes, and access to shared tools and equipment. Students can buy a personal toolkit for $15 if they don't already have one. Classes include access to the studio for extra practice outside of class -- at designated times, students can come in and practice their making skills in addition to regular class time.

📅 Set your calendars! The next 4 weekends are full of excellent markets and a community event~

2/28: Join us at the Westfield Winter Market at the West Fork Whisky Co in Westfield. There's a great collection of artisans and foodstuffs, with a rotating vendor list that changes a little each week.

3/7: Looking Glass Pottery Studio is hosting its first Community event of the year! Join the studio members for a "Show & Tell" series where members and students show off some of their recent work. All are welcome to this potluck event~

3/14: The IndyMade Market has returned for Spring! We will be setup in the Llama barn at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. This is our first time attending, and we are super excited (and not just because it's Nica's birthday)! Tickets for attendees 16 and up are $5; folks 15 and under can attend for free.

3/21: Join us for our final Westfield Winter Market of the season and celebrate the beginning of Spring!

Happy (almost) Valentine's day! Our studio is proud to offer several Valentine's themed One Time Classes this February. Bring a loved one and play with some clay!

The cost of the class is $50 per person and includes all the tools and instructions you need to make up to 3 of your very own creations. No experience is required, but we do recommend ages 16+ for Wheelthrowing classes.

Celebrate Valentine's Day with Clay!

We are offering several Valentine's Day themed one night classes for the month of February. In these classes, we will be making heart-shaped bowls (or any kind of bowl you like). In addition to our standard colors (yellow, blue, pink and red), for Valentine's Day we'll also have white and black glazes to choose from.

Can't get enough clay?

There are plenty of One Night Class offerings available on our website with class dates available through March.

In our standard one night classes, you'll be able to throw up to 3 things and choose your glaze colors. Classes are also just $50/person, making this a great activity to try. Who knows, you might find your new favorite hobby? :)

When will the next 8-week session be available?

Great question! The next session schedule will be announced at the start of February, with registration opening officially on Saturday, February 21st at noon. Follow us on social media for curriculum and schedule updates ahead of the class registration announcement.

Looking Glass Pottery Studio is closed for the holiday season, from 12/21/2025 through 1/2/2026. so that our staff can enjoy time with their families.* If you have pottery for pickup, please join us when our public hours resume beginning Tuesday, January 6th, 2026.

Additionally, we will be hosting a "the studio turns 3" birthday bash on January 3rd from 1 to 6pm. Light refreshments will be provided and we'll also have a clay activity available for purchase. If you're interested in learning more about the studio, or just want to hang out in the new year, please join us!

A huge thank you to everyone who has been with us this year -- either in class, as members, or at events and we'll see you in 2026!
