As times get tougher, and money gets spread thinner... it's time to look at the way Mamaw and Papaw did things, so we can continue to provide quality items for our families.

So many incredible Missouri residents and farmers are apart of agricultural communities and rural culture. It's been a way of life for generations and generations. We may live in an age of social media and touch screens, but that doesn't mean we've given up a simple life, loving simple things.
All across our great state we have farmers who raise meat with humane and ethical practices. Egg producers who are caretakers of flocks of chickens laying the freshest eggs. We have some of the freshest produce from local orchards, small gardeners, and larger scale operations.
We also have an abundance of hole-in-the-wall swap meets and farmers markets to boot.

I would love for more Missourians to connect and share what they have and where other Missouri residents can source their staples and favorites.

Let's use each comment to post a separate farm, farmers market, swap meet, etc.
If you are open to bartering comment your farm's page, and let us know what items you have for barter and what things you would take in return. I'll post mine in the comments as an example.
Let's continue to build and bring together our communities. 👩🏻🌾
