Guys!!!! I made a template I think I can work with. This is just the model so it will look better when I don't make a ton of adjustments to sizing but I rode Bounce in it the other day and it stayed put and he seemed happy with it! Excited to try some new stitches and do new designs with these as I work out the kinks. It's hard to find bonnets that fit Arabians well, but Oliver is a half Arab and Bounce is a purebred and it fit them both.

Still not 100 percent happy with the base pattern I have but getting closer. Will try my new template on a horse today and see how much of what I've done works and what doesn't. Can't wait to be able to make these and sell them! I always struggle to be patient with the process or creating a pattern but that's just part of being a creative person even if it's hard on my mental health lol.
