🤢I CAN STILL SMELL IT 🤢🤮I bought a farmhouse with acreage, a massive old barn, and all the potential in the world.

I thought I could save it.
Truthfully… I thought I wanted to save it.

The house was packed with years of filth, mice, cats, and the kind of smell that clings to your clothes even after you leave. We cleaned. We scrubbed. We planned. We talked about ripping out subfloors, drywall, insulation — all the things you do when you flip old houses.

But it wasn’t the smell that got me.

It was the feeling.

For the first time in my life, I walked through a house praying out loud with sage smoking in both hands because I couldn’t shake the heaviness inside those walls. I knew something had happened there. I can’t explain it any better than that.

Six weeks later, after a lot of exhausting work, I let it go.

And honestly?
That house taught me something valuable.

Not every rundown property is “enchanted.”
Not every project is worth sacrificing your peace for.
And just because you can survive something doesn’t mean you’re supposed to stay in it.

The last 12 months have changed me. My standards are higher now — for houses, for business, for energy, and for life.

Still grateful for the lesson.
Still grateful for the barn.
But I’m finally learning the difference between potential… and peace.

We’ve already put about 50 man hours into the building- We will be ready for our “Barn Sale” June 12 🙌🏻💅😎✅

We ended up at Mac's Attic in Alliance Ohio after our original plans to attend The 720 Market was rained out ( we’ll catch you next time)

I stopped counting, but we were in the store for at least three hours and honestly, we could’ve shopped a few more hours 😂 lucky that Susan Mancini Taggart & Jena Marie Taylor thrift in the same fashion! Procurement day is always our favorite day!
