Have you met Nancy and Michelle?
Our co-owners have beautiful, unique stories that led them to the world of florals.
Nancy has always loved creating beautiful spaces for entertaining. Long before it was trendy, she was setting tables with her grandmotherās china, hand-picked garden flowers, and a Martha Stewart flair without the fuss.
Her love for minimalist and Ikebana-style design stems from her childhood in Japan. After a successful corporate career at Procter & Gamble, Nancy decided to follow her creative side, studying floral design at the Rhode Island School of Design, the Flower School of New York, and beyond.
When sheās not designing or growing flowers, youāll find her skiing, biking, visiting her daughter in Edinburgh, or soaking up time with her beloved granddaughter.
Nancy and her āfloral buddy,ā Michelle, started Lupine & Sage Floral Design to share their love of flowers, support local growers, and be a part of the Mount Washington Valley community.
Michelleās flower story started earlyāat just 14, she was already working at a floral shop while studying horticulture at Essex Aggie in Danvers, MA. She spent the next 27 years honing her craft, eventually earning the title of Master Florist and building a loyal following who trust her eye for design.
Outside the shop, Michelle has a heart of gold. Sheās been a foster parent to many children and loves caring for her dogs, cats, and sprawling gardens. When sheās not working with flowers, youāll probably find her horseback riding or reading a good book.
At Lupine & Sage Floral Design, Michelle brings her decades of experience and genuine care to every arrangement, helping people celebrate lifeās moments both big and small.
