Looking for an experienced Designer with at least 3-5 years' experience.
Heritage Kitchen Design Center is a specialized kitchen design company located at 7736 Post Road in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The showroom focuses on custom kitchen solutions for residential clients, emphasizing both function and aesthetics. Team members collaborate closely with homeowners, contractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality, tailored designs. Role Description This is a full-time, Experienced Kitchen Designer role based in North Kingstown, RI. The designer will meet with clients to assess their needs, develop design concepts, and create detailed kitchen layouts and plans. Day-to-day tasks include specifying cabinetry, finishes, preparing drawings and presentations; and guiding clients through product selections. The role involves managing projects from initial consultation through installation coordination, collaborating with contractors and vendors to ensure accuracy and timelines. The designer will also support showroom activities, respond to inquiries, and contribute to sales by providing professional design guidance and proposals.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Kitchen & Bath Design, including space planning, material selection, and layout optimization.
Demonstrated Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to listen, advise, and build trust with diverse clients.
Experience in Sales, including preparing proposals, presenting design solutions, and supporting closing of projects.
In-depth knowledge of Cabinetry, including product lines, construction details, and installation considerations.
Experience using 2020/Design Flex software and basic understanding of construction and remodeling processes.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Prior experience in kitchen and bath showroom or design studio environment preferred.
Relevant education or certification in interior design, kitchen & bath design, or a related field is beneficial.
