These decorative leather bookmarks, made by Antioch Bookplate Co. the 1970's, are vintage but have never been used. Originally purchased from Jordan Marsh department store to be given as gifts but instead ended up in storage so they are in excellent condition.

Vintage Royal Worcester Evesham Gold Pots de Creme Tray

Evesham Gold, named after the local fruit growing region near Worcester, was developed by Royal Worcester in 1961 amid a new trend for informal dining that was to bring the humble casserole dish from the kitchen to the dining table!

Traditionally used to serve chocolate pots / creme or custard cups, this tray can fit a variety of serveware & decor purposes such as drink tray, hors d'oeuvres presentation or even a dresser / bathroom counter / coffee table tray.

This beautiful & clasic tray is in perfect condition and has never been used as it was originally purchased by my mother over 40 years ago to be given as a gift but instead ended up in storage.

Antique Handpainted Noritake Sauce Dish c.1925

The enduring antique china pieces heldover from a time when fashion forward meant high collars, high tea and dinner attire have found a place in the eclectic styles of today where they are often repurposed as trinket dishes, candle holders, soap dishes or any other placement in which only a unique esthetic invibed with a bit of history will do.
》MARK & MANUFACTURE BACKGROUND:
The manufacture mark backstamp consists of the "M" for Morimura Wreath Mark, crowned by "NORITAKE", and beneath, "Hand painted" and "Made in Japan".
This mark was registered in 1918 and seems to have come into use in the early 1920's when it was used until around 1940.
▪︎ At the time of its manufacture, bone china pieces of this style were most commonly used as a type of serveware known as a sauce dish.
▪︎ This piece along with all other bone china produced by Noritake China with the same mark was hand painted and made in Japan
》DESIGN DESCRIPTION:
▪︎ Features a floral medly design in the center, a green border along the inside circumference and a gold gilded rim.
》CONDITION:
▪︎ This piece is in very good antique condition with some areas of rub-off wear along the gold rim - No cracks or crazing.
