And just like that, I am a shopkeeper again! I am excited to share that I will be joining the Barefoot Landing community, here in North Myrtle Beach! You can shop unique and specially curated gifts and home decor items from many well-known local vendors, artisans and small businesses, because shopping small is what we pride on most!

Please follow along for updates and plans for the grand opening. I can’t wait to become apart of a new community and share this journey with you, a dream I’ve had since closing my doors in NJ.

And for my Holly Street Home community back in NJ, I hope to see you if you ever plan to vacation to the area but in the meantime, you can still shop all your favorites online!

Hey HSH fam! 😄👋🏼

It’s been a little while since I’ve checked in here, and I’ve missed you all more than you know.

Life has looked a bit different lately—in the best and most needed ways. After closing the store in late 2024 and spending most of last year packing up our lives and making the move down South, I’ve been taking the time to slow down, reset and truly settle into this new chapter.

Between new schedules, routines, allowing the kids time to adjust, creating a new sense of home, finding my rhythm again and making our new house feel like a home (my most favorite part), it’s been a beautiful season of growth, healing, and quiet rebuilding.

I will not sugarcoat it, I get homesick sometimes, but the South has been so good to us and I truly love it here. Holly Street Home will always be a part of me and while things may look different than before, the heart behind it hasn’t changed one bit.

And with that said— something exciting is coming to North Myrtle Beach, and I cannot wait to share it with all of you. 👀✨

When I closed the doors to my storefront last November— it was a gut wrenching decision that broke my heart but deep down, one I knew was only temporary. I had built Holly Street Home, a six figure worth small business, from the center of my living room from nothing but my own grit, blood, sweat and tears. Without that “side hustle” turning into something much more than I ever could have imagined in the middle of a pandemic, I wouldn’t have been able to leave my marriage and I definitely would not be where I am today. Walking away felt like losing a part of myself but I trusted that better things were coming. That season of my life taught me more than I could have imagined and ultimately, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Today, I walked through potential spaces at Barefoot Landing and for the first time in a long time, I felt that spark again.

So here’s to manifesting all the good energy for 2026 as Holly Street Home prepares to reopen its doors in the Spring. We’ll be doing things a little differently this time around. I’ll be steering the focus away from myself and the furniture and centering it more around shopping and tourism so stay tuned— I’m looking forward to the upcoming months ahead! 😁

Our very 1st home cooked meal in the new house (and my very first glass of wine! lol)

Since the movers unloaded us on Saturday, we’ve been conquering mountain high boxes. The kids have been working hard on their rooms and the downstairs is starting to actually look like a home. My fridge arrived on Saturday damaged and the replacement won’t arrive now until the end of the month. Thankfully, I brought our garage fridge from the old house with us and I was finally able to make a trip to get some groceries today after Luke’s football practice. It’s been almost two weeks of eating out and believe it or not, we were getting tired of it lol. Still waiting on the new couches and kitchen table to arrive so standing while eating continues. It may be only burgers and hot dogs, but it felt so good to eat “at home.”
