I have never been to this ceremony before, but I will be this time. I am playing “fife” (piccolo) music. It should be interesting celebrating the signing of the constitution!

The Daughters of the American Revolution Sioux Lookout Chapter Cordially invites you to attend “Ringing of the Bells Across America” on September 17, 2026 (Thursday.)

Program begins at 2:30 p.m. on the courthouse south lawn at 3rd and Dewey under the Liberty Tree (chairs provided courtesy of the courthouse.) It will end at 3:00 p.m. with “Ringing of the Bells” by the Sioux Lookout Statue.

Community members and officials are encouraged to attend and be a part of the audience as they celebrate the program for their Constitution Week kickoff!

I have not been good at keeping up this summer and really this whole year! I am so thankful for Denise who has really been the person working hard to keep things going smoothly while I take time to travel to visit family, work on taming my yard, and many other activities.

I will attempt to focus on Facebook posts! No promises! Please share with us if you have a project you are working on or really like one if our yarns. Or maybe you have a wish list of yarns to carry.

We have had many changes in what is available wholesale to offer in the shop without having giant minimum orders.

Thanks to Brown Sheep, our Nebraska yarn that has always been good to work with! Plymouth Yarn, Malabrigo, Knitting Fever, Skacel ( and their variety of yarns) have akso been helpful. We are hoping to get our chenille yarns back in stock soon!

‼️ONE NIGHT LEFT‼️

Thank you to everyone to came out to audition for our first show of the Playhouse season, And Then There Were None! We had a great turnout and just made us even more excited for this production to take the stage!

You have one more chance to come down to the Fox Theatre to audition. Tonight at 7:00. No stage experience necessary! This who came the first night are not required to come again, but you are always welcome to.
