Have you heard of Norwalk Furniture? If you live in Norwalk, I’m sure you have. Right in our backyard, we have an amazing furniture factory where every piece of furniture is handcrafted in house. From the frame, the finish, to the upholstery. I took a tour of the factory and showroom last year. As a local Interior Designer- I have access to take my clients to the showroom and help them through the furniture selection process. I can guide you through customizing a piece of furniture that will fit all of your needs. Recently completed a makeover in the retail area salon in Norwalk! I worked with the owner, Erica, and came up with a new design to update the space with more shelving, more storage, and a fun focal wall moment with woven wall hangings, dried palm leaves, and preserved monstera palm leaves. They have some new services available like UV + red light tanning and poly red light therapy so be sure to check them out if you’ve never been in.

Do you collect anything?

I do! I didn’t realize I had so many mason jars until I recently gathered them all and put them on display in our kitchen. I absolutely love the color of the glass and the handmade nature of them. How the design of them changed over the years that they were hand crafted. And did you know that John Landis Mason, a tinsmith from Vineland, New Jersey, patented the screw-threaded glass jar on November 30, 1858? That’s 167 years ago!

This bathroom refresh is complete! New paint color, new hexagon tile floor, vanity, we switched from satin nickel fixtures to black, new mirror, light fixtures, and accessories and voilà. Seems so simple, but there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make this transformation! The last photo is the before.

I love this living room. I did this design years ago and I just love the timeless style and my clients eye for unique art and accessories. She had found that antique bowling pin and we turned it into a lamp! Gave new life to an heirloom chair by reupholstering it. And that black cupboard?!? LOVE it! She had the flooring replaced a couple years ago and we added in the new wool rug. I love working with rooms that I can just keep adding new layers of design to. ✨
