I started pulling my act together a bit this weekend in preparation for the holidays. I am hosting Thanksgiving so am not leaning too hard into Christmas (full disclosure my tree is up) but also every weekend until mid Dec is crazy so I knew this weekend was my chance to get going. I posted in stories links to where a lot of the things are from that I am using to decorate this holiday season.

This is a new thing I have been trying out while going through construction. I have been buying those foam boards that you would buy for your elementary science experiments and on each one I tape every bit of information that pertains to that room including notes, reminders, specs, drawings etc. For example in a bathroom, you would want to tell the plumber in advance the exact layout of the vanity, if it has an open base or drawers so they know exactly where to put the plumbing so that it doesn’t interfere with the drawers opening and closing or if there is an open base, to avoid seeing the plumbing. …..
