Reclaimed barnwood beams and ceiling are up at Oak + Chapel. 🤍

Shout out to Matt and his team at Antique Beams & Boards, who sanded each old piece smooth while keeping the natural grain and timeworn character that makes every board one of a kind.

Beams, ceiling, or that arch: what’s your favorite?

Warm, sculptural, and completely unbothered by trends. This La Plante kitchen leans into organic modern minimalism with dome pendants and brass details throughout, all grounded by concrete floors and a gorgeous waterfall island.

Our favorite detail? We can’t pick one 😂.

Floating stairs, meet white oak. 🤍 The stringers went in today at Oak + Chapel and we are obsessed with how this staircase is taking shape. Treads are up next. Stay tuned!

Don’t skip the prime-out. 🤎

Before we commit to a final paint color, we do a prime-out with a tinted primer, especially with deeper, richer tones like this one.

Getting the primer closer to the final shade gives us a more even base and lets the true color develop the way it’s supposed to. Often it also means fewer coats and a cleaner finish overall.

It’s the kind of step you’ll never notice once the room is finished, but it’s exactly why the finished room looks the way it does.

The details you don’t see are still doing the work. ✨
