Owned by Trish Sillavan, Ember & Elegance is more than just a craft boutique—it’s a dream come to life. As a proud Oak Harbor resident, I never imagined I’d be opening a store. Looking back on the past two months, it’s been a whirlwind of renovation, organizing inventory, pricing, and creating a space I truly hope the community will love. I’ve felt the excitement, the nerves, and the joy of bringing something new and meaningful to our town. This dream wouldn’t have become reality without the incredible support of those around me. My amazing husband has gone above and beyond—supporting me every step of the way, helping with everything from physical setup to emotional encouragement. Jobeth has been a constant helping hand, jumping in wherever needed and bringing both heart and organization to the process. Tim worked wonders on our front window display build-out, bringing skill and craftsmanship that transformed the space. Wendy has shared her expertise in marketing, helping us prepare for a strong launch and community presence. And Maria, who will be leading our classroom space, is already bringing energy and passion that will make it a place of creativity and joy. I’m also deeply grateful to my friends and family, whose ongoing support has meant the world to me through this long and rewarding process.
