We haven't posted for a while but here is a quick update for those that are following the story about the Stole Funds that were raised for the DV Farm.

Quick overview, a car show that was held raised $4100 for DV Farms, which none of that was turned over as the Event Coordinator/holder (Basktcase Events) had used the money for personal use.

The Car Clubs NorCal Euro Society and Family Friends Cars, reached out to local news stations and more and there was global coverage about the story and all that is has happened. With that, there was a GoFundMe Set up, were $2,930 was raised for DVFarm. As well as all the pressure that was placed on BasketCase Events (Sherie Brooks) she has begun to pay back what was initially promised to DV Farm. She has paid back $3,010.00 of the $4100.00. We are in constant contact with Mike and Martha at DV Farms regarding the money and future events.

Also, as some has noticed all of Basketcase Events pages were shut down and all events were deleted, but most recently the pages are back online and events are being held under other names but correlate right to previous events that have been held by Basketcase Events.

There has been reports made to Police (which was accepted), BBB, Sac County Business Department, and The Attorney General

**** This event was not tied to any other known Events holders or creators. (I.E Dreams and Drivers) This was solely a Basketcase Event, with 2 car clubs assisting the show****

Quick Update!!!! The Go Fund Me is going strong we are up to $2,905.00 of our $4,100 Goal! Thank you for everyone who donated. We are still pushing this forward to insure DV Farm receives all that was intended for them. The hosting clubs are continuing to work together getting the word out about this and working on creating new events for the Veterans. Go to the GoFundMe and donate to a great cause! It is going straight to the DV Farm.

The authories have been notified of this, police reports, business reports/complaints have been filed. BBB has been notified regarding this as well.

Also, with all the news coverage this has received the party that stole the money Basketcase Events (Sherie Brooks) has returned $1000.00 of that money that she had spent. As well as had one of her friends pay $490.00 on her behalf. This does not make up for any thing that has had happened already.

The hosting clubs will continue to keep the GoFundMe up.
