Historic Huntsville this evening. Tonight I walked Franklin, McClung, Echols, and there is one house from Locust Ave. ๐Ÿ˜‰. Twickenham is such a beautiful neighborhood. For those that are not from here or haven't been to Huntsville, these are all private homes, only blocks from the square in downtown. There are many more historic homes in the downtown area. The houses I've shown are in a six block radius. Visit Huntsville and enjoy downtown - great food, a beautiful park, and so many historic homes! We were honored to deliver this magnificent JH Belter Meridienne today to the Lotz House Museum in Franklin, Tennessee. This remarkable home was the epicenter of the Battle of Franklin during the Civil War. While it survived the fighting, Mr. Lotz spent four years restoring the house after the War. A master carpenter, he carved ever detail on the interior and exterior of the home including the mantles and staircase. A fascinating museum with an outstanding tour. Go see it! I was blessed to grow up in Downtown Huntsville. This evening I walked down Adams and Williams Streets and took a few pictures of our neighborhood. Many of my friends grew up in these beautiful homes, our Middle School was on one end of Adams and most of us walked there. These grand homes have been the scene of many Symphony Parties, Historic Society Meetings, and the like. Twickenham is a magnificent historic district. I am so thankful my parents never moved off Locust Avenue. Tomorrow evening I'll walk Franklin and McClung Streets. Enjoy!
