Week one in the books for our cooking camp with Elmhurst Park District and it did NOT disappoint! 🎉 Our campers brought the energy and the good vibes all week long, we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead this summer!

A huge shoutout to our camp manager Madeline Norbut and our fearless leader Cheryl Knecht for making week one such an incredible success, this camp runs so smoothly because of you two! 🙌

Spots are still available for several of our Half Day Camps (9am–12pm), but they’re going FAST. We’re even expanding enrollment to meet demand, that’s how good this camp is!

Festival del Niño is a beloved tradition at the National Museum of Mexican Art, inspired by Día del Niño, a celebration that recognizes the joy, value, and importance of children in our communities.

This free family-friendly festival is all about coming together to celebrate kids with games, activities, health services, and plenty of fun for everyone. It’s a day filled with culture, connection, and community spirit.

Led by Ana of Bloom & Make 🌿 She will walk you through three simple, no-special-equipment methods for pressing flowers at home, including one that uses copy paper and a dumbbell 🏋️ Whether you want to preserve flowers from your garden, a wedding bouquet, or a meaningful moment, you’ll leave ready to start.

Ana has preserved flowers for 350+ Chicago-area clients and has been growing and pressing her own homegrown blooms since 2018.

Bigger is definitely better in this baking class! Join us this Saturday, May 23rd from 1–2:30PM for our Giant Oreos Kids Cooking Class, where young bakers will create their own oversized Oreo-style sandwich cookies completely from scratch.

From mixing rich chocolate cookie dough to whipping fluffy vanilla cream filling, kids will learn real baking skills while having a blast in the kitchen. The best part? Assembling their giant cookie masterpiece to take home (if they can resist eating it first 😋).
