Kelly's background in fine art, set design and architecture brings a seamless integration of those perspectives into design. Kelley's refined approach has garnered her a loyal base of clients, as well as accolades including Oakland Magazine's Reader's Choice Award for interior design. Her work is included in the 2013 San Francisco Decorators' Showcase. Kelley studied and worked in architecture and fine arts for over ten years before transitioning into her first love, interior design. She holds a bachelors degree in Installation Art from San Francisco State University, and continued her education in interior design and architecture at UC Berkeley and the University of Michigan. New year, new chapter...after so many years in our sweet little Oakland studio, we’ve relocated our office to a renovated warehouse space near the estuary in Alameda. I am so grateful to all the clients, vendors and friends we hosted in our Oakland space over those years and looking forward to creating new memories and a new chapter!

Saw this beautiful installation by Céleste Boursier-Mougenot at the Bourse de Commerce during a visit to Paris last week. A sound installation of floating ceramic bowls installed in the rotunda of the museum which created a beautiful visual and auditory counterpoint to the architecture of the space.

One of our favorite kitchens for one of our favorite clients! We transformed a small, unworkable and very outdated kitchen with some subtle re-positioning of architectural elements, and updated the whole layout with new cabinetry, finishes, lighting and appliances. The transformed kitchen is now a show piece of the house.

We combined a warm, textured limestone accent wall with artisanal Heath field tiles, creating a beautiful contrast against the matte black plumbing fixtures. Hand-cast porcelain wall sconces add a soft, intimate glow that enhances the finishes.
