Good Morning!! This is a tough message for us to send, but here goes…Collective Kindness is closing forever. It’s been a nearly 10 year adventure with lots of ups and downs. Rising costs of simply every aspect of doing business has made it too difficult to continue. This is coupled with the fact that I (Liz) am moving and my new property just doesn’t have the space for a proper candle studio and office. Believe it or not, it takes a lot of space to run a candle business. It has been a pleasure to make candles that have literally been sent and enjoyed all over the world. Thank you for supporting Collective Kindness! We wish you the best!

Hi everyone! Wow, it's been a bit since I've posted, but let's dive into what's happening. Collective Kindness is a 9 year old business and we've pivoted several times to keep up with what our customers want and our personal lives would tolerate. After closing our retail shops several years ago, our lovely little candle business began transitioning into more of a wholesale business. Now, only a very small fraction of our business comes from Etsy and our refill program. I've made the decision to close our Etsy shop for many reasons. Etsy's algorithms have changed drastically and their fees have gone up. It's not feasible to continue. If you have ordered from there in the past, Thank You! Now, you can get ahold of me by just emailing me at [email protected]. I am still going to be doing local refills in conjunction with Wildflower Beauty by Jessica in downtown Winter Garden, FL. Take your empty containers there fill out an info sheet and I'll fill your container with your desired scent from our collection. Please DM me or email me with any questions you may have. Hey, it's almost Fall ya'll! It's that time of year, even where we are in Florida, that we crave those warm, moody, fragrant fall scents. You can take all of those empty candle containers you have and drop them off at Wildflower Beauty by Jessica in downtown Winter Garden. Just fill out a form and I'll come pick them up. Within 7-10 days they will be cured and delivered back to WFB for you to pick up. The ladies at WFB will have a form for you to fill out and the current pricing schedule. It's that easy! AUTUMN APPLE: Fruit notes of apple combine with enchanting spices to capture the magical essence of Fall. Top notes of green apples, lemon, cedar leaf, middle notes of pine and spiced fruit, then base notes of earthy musk undertones. This smells straight up like your Grandma is baking a fresh apple pie. It's delicious and one of our most popular scents.
FIRESIDE: We've captured the true essence of sitting by a cozy fire. This blend of autumn fragrances perfectly balances top notes of clove, saffron, bergamot, orange, & lemon; with middle notes of geranium, lily, rose and amber. Base notes include patchouli, vetiver, tonka beans, and sandalwood. Ahhhh, the great outdoors!
POMEGRANATE CIDER: This is a cozy scent with a twist! It starts with very strong traditional notes of apple, sugar & cloves, but adds the tart and tangy kick of fresh pomegranate. It's very unique and one of our favorites!
PUMPKIN APPLE BUTTER: This is our best selling Fall scent of all time! It will put you in the mood for the holidays with top notes of orange, apple, pear, pineapple, and cherries; middle notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, & clove; base notes of warm vanilla. Simply amazing!!
TOASTED MARSHMALLOW: This sugared vanilla creation is blended with velvet woods and hints of spice for a nostalgic appeal. A warm, sweet accord of musky amber adds luxurious texture. Not too sweet and a little toasted!

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since we’ve posted so we thought we’d catch up! It’s been a very busy Spring and Summer has started off with a bang! We just returned from St Louis where my son got married and my husband and I celebrated our 45th Anniversary. It was an epic week full of love and laughter. A beach vacation is on the horizon, so we won’t be back into the full swing of things until the end of June. Thanks for being patient. We just wanted to let you know that if you’re planning to have custom candles poured before Christmas, the deadline for dropping off your containers at Wildflower Beauty by Jessica in downtown Winter Garden is Wednesday, December 16th. November is ❤️Diabetes Awareness Month ❤️
And in the spirit of giving and to raise the much needed awareness of the a growing disease in our country, The Bulk Pantry is spotlighting both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. Each have similarities to each other, but are very different in treatment and management. Throughout the month, they will be showcasing diabetic friendly choices, and yes, in said “diabetic friendly” and they have gotten slack over that term before and they will not shy away from using it—when you live with a disease or illness day in and day out, you gravitate towards things that are “friendly” to you. End point.

In their store, they bake items and they have been labeled “Keto,” which yes, they are. But they are SO much more than that!!!!!

-a T1D (Type 1 diabetic, insulin dependent) child walks into their bakery, sees cupcakes, frowns because “they can’t have cupcakes”... you tell them they are safe for them to eat... a small face lights up!

-the adult that has just come from a routine doctors appointment... told that they are borderline diabetic... “yes, you CAN have those cookies, or bread, or muffins...”

Diabetes is a daily fight, and one which does not discriminate.

This month they will have specials that proceeds will be benefiting our local ADA (American Diabetes Association) and a great local organization, Dancing For Diabetes!!! Stay tuned for all three fun things happening this month!!

And to start it off...... they have again partnered with us, Collective Kindness Candle Co. to bring you “Wanderlust” in beautiful red and white jars. This scent is breathtaking and equally beautiful. Great for your home or a gift!! Stop in and check them out!!!
