Do "normal" people notice sh*tty burn performance?

I have no idea. I've been told they don't, but I find that so hard to believe.

Like they don't notice when the flame is two inches high and smoking? Or care when wax stays stuck to the glass? Or expect differently when the flame drowns out halfway down?

I can't relate to any of that which is probably a good thing because it reflects in my candles.

As someone with a mind that is both a blessing and a curse, my attention to detail goes overboard when formulating and making them to ensure none of the performance issues people are accustomed to actually happen.

So good news, if you also notice these things too, you might like my candles more than you expect.

Come for the scent, stay for the burn! It's abnormally good.

Do you start to dream of the holidays as soon as the air turns cold?

Do you crave a fresh smelling fall candle instead of a spicy heavy one?

Then this one is for you.

Evergreen & Apple smells like bins of freshly picked apples and freshly cut evergreen boughs - bright, bold, fresh, and unmistakably seasonal. The effect is clean, rugged, and natural.

I originally made this scent because I wanted something that didn't smell like every other fall candle - something fresh and botanical, not heavy and spiced.

And while it definitely hits that mark, it also immediately conjures thoughts of even cooler weather, hinting at first freezes and winter.

It's cozy without getting heavy, making it one of those scents you can burn straight through both seasons, without judgement from people who don't want to rush either one.

And apparently, I wasn't the only one who thought so. This was one of my most popular scents when I offered it in the past.

If you want your house to smell like a haunted gothic church, Smoked Oud is your candle.

This is the most mysterious and moody scent I've ever made - smoky, woody, and warm in a way that reminds me of priests swinging incense and hewn wooden pews.

Complex notes of smoky sweet incense, frankincense, and myrrh blend with well worn wood and warm leather for something sacred and transformative, while hints of spearmint lend an airiness that creates a sense of vaulted ceilings and gentle updrafts.

Meet Cinnamon Chai - the second most popular candle of the fall launch, and a life-like rendition of the real thing.

The first time I tested this, it stopped me in my tracks. The scent is so incredibly authentic, so unmistakably chai, that it reignited my love for the drink and helped me transition out of my coffee habit when I burned out earlier this summer.

When I learned cinnamon is also used to manifest prosperity and abundance, I knew I had to make this a featured scent.

Spicy cinnamon, cardamom, and clove prevail, anchored by notes of tannic black tea and cream for a luxury tea-house experience. A very subtle sweetness rounds it out without tipping it into dessert territory - this isn't an artificial cafe scented candle, it's an authentic steaming cup of real chai.

Campfire Marshmallow is the candle you burn when you want sophisticated autumn vibes that don't scream pumpkin spice.

Instead of heavy spice and harvest notes, this candle builds layers of airy ozone and toasted vanilla over a clean base of wood, touched with smoke.

Unlit, this candle can smell almost sharp and ashy....like the remnants of a campfire after a light rain. Once burning however, the marshmallow blooms, warm vanilla comes through, and the cool sharp ash softens to a warm sweet smoke.

It creates an endlessly comforting, sweet and moody atmosphere perfect for slow evenings and cozy rituals.

This scent was actually one of the first customer requests I pursued, when a mom asked if I made it because it was her son's favorite candle scent. I didn't at the time, but was intrigued by the idea and developed it later that same year.

I've since featured it a couple of times and while I don't know if that person ever found me again to buy it, I am grateful to her each time I make it as this has since become a favorite!

Forest Trail - the scent nobody bought on launch day.

Ok maybe not nobody because technically it did sell in the Discovery Boxes (which are sold out, thank you!!) but it didn't sell on its own.

I could be sad about this but really I'm not - selling candles just by description is tough, and with a scent like this it's so much harder than something like coffee or chai.

So what does it smell like?

To me Forest Trail smells like entering a forest dominated by pines and cedar and freshly maintained by the parks service - the smell of chipped logs and sawn wood wafts up from the trail and the air hangs with just enough cool mist to amplify that fresh hewn aroma.

The woody smell is so pronounced it almost gives woodshop or cedar chest vibes, but it corrects back into nature territory with hints of smoke, pine, moss, and damp earth for a fresh and moody take on outdoor scents. If you like "masculine" candles or ones with strong scent throw, you'll like this one

Fall launched yesterday and Apple Harvest beat out Cinnamon Chai by ONE candle sale to become the early favorite of the season.

Thank you so much to everyone that ordered (!!!) but also ngl everytime I do a launch, I get scared to promote myself again until I'm totally caught up and restocked. This often takes days, during which I'm super stressed for not showing up online during my own launch. (Like, paradox much...??)

Acting from that fear totally strips me of the ability to build momentum and is a huge hinderance to growth. And I've never had my inventory get wiped out so it's not even a behavior based on past experience!

It's like I'm always prepping for a deluge of sales yet too scared to do the self promotion to get the deluge cause I'm scared I'll mess it up.

So, Fear, meet Apple Harvest.

This candle smells like walking into a market barn at an apple orchard during the height of September when bins of fresh apples fill the space and saturate the air with their signature sweet crisp aroma.

Mingled in the air is also a hint of orange, cinnamon, and cloves from brewing hot c***r as well as the warm woody scent of the barn and apple bins. It's a blend of fresh apple and warm spice that hits all the autumn feels.

This candle can smell strong right above the jar, but diffuses into an absolutely realistic and transformative fall experience.
