It’s homecoming week in Oconto!!! 💙💛

The JV football team kicked it off by beating the Peshtigo JV team 16-6! Congrats to my son (and Julie’s grandson) Roar and the rest of his Blue Devils team!!! 🏈

As our window will tell you, we are “PUMP”-ed for another win on Thursday!!

Personal Crochet lessons with Julie! 🧶

🧣🧶🪢 Learn the basic stitches, or pick a project for Julie to help you create!

Julie is our in-house crochet master. Julie was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at the young age of 4 years old, and soon after, she found crocheting to be therapeutic. She has been “hooked” ever since!

Whatever you want to make, Julie can help!

We are ready for Harvest Fest this Saturday!
9am-3pm

Stop by our Booth (in front of the shop) or swing in to the shop for some creative art time!

At our booth we will feature:
👻 paint your own SQUISHIE!!!
🎃 paint your own PUMPKIN
🪨 Rock painting
🧶 hand made crocheted and knit items

Inside the shop will be OPEN ART with lots of things to paint and make! We can’t wait to see you all!!

We’ve had our first couple homeschool art classes for the year.

Lesson one: Perspective- we talked about how objects in the distance appear smaller. We drew some trees with fall leaves, from the perspective of someone laying on the forest floor looking up. 🍁 🌳

Lesson two: Depth of color- we talked about how color gets deeper (or darker) as you add more color. So we painted “houses and hills” using the same color twice, and observed the differences in depth. 🏠 🎨
